Where the earth meets the sky

A bluish mist leaves everything behind

And by its side

A halo from the sun will lie

  1. This poem reminds me of NYC, my childhood, and one of my first introductions to poetry. It is also the memory from a day we spent together in NYC just before I had my tonsils removed. I was 5 then…but this poem is my connection to that time and a book you bought for me on that day. Your eldest
